He received “recognition for his command of military strategy as well criticism for the harshness of the scorched earth policies he implemented.”
Colourisation appeals to the history nerd in me. The attempt is never to replace the original artefact but to brush the dust off the often overlooked photographs of the past and rekindle the intrigue they once held for the viewer.
